How do I get to Erongaricuaro?

By car, plane, bus or bike... there's a description for car and bus on the "Map" page on this site. By plane you will have to fly to Morelia and proceed from there with bus or car. Upon request we can eventually arrange to pick you up at the airport.

What can I do in and around Eronga?

How's the climate?

There's a pleasant average temperature of 24 degree C ( 75 F ) year round. It can get fresh at night especially in the winter and during raining season. Have a sweater at hand....just in case. You can check in at: http://weather.com => type "Morelia" in the search-box and on the upcoming page click on the small blue selections saying: Yesterday, Current, Tomorrow...10 Days, Month, etc. (the weather in Eronga is a little cooler than Morelia).

When is the raining season starting/ending?

Raining season starts from around end of may and lasts until about end of October. Usually it's not raining all day long and you can expect some sun in the morning until early afternoon. Your visit will be rewarded with a beautiful vegetation, and blooming flowers and butterflies from mid October to November.

When and what is the "Day of the Dead"?

What is the driving time from other Cities?

From Morelia about 1 hour. - From Patzcuaro 25 min. - From Guadalajara or Ixtapa about 3 1/2 hours. From Leon 4 hours and from Mexico City 5 hours.
