Welcome to Erongaricuaro

If you prefer to stay off, but near the  tourist-hotspot Pátzcuaro, and would like to stay in a more quiet Mexican pueblo, then Erongaricuaro, or "Eronga", as everybody is calling it, might be  the right place to choose, as your base to explore this region, renown for its history traditions and beautiful crafts. Eronga is just 17 km off Pátzcuaro and 34 km from Quiroga.  

Hotel  Jardín   is  a  family-style  bead and breakfast hotel with clean and cozy rooms and  a  friendly  atmosphere,  situated  right  at  the  main-square of  the village. Our manager  Sandra  speaks  English  and  a   little  French  and  cares for exceptional  hospitality  to  make  your  visit  as comfortable  as  possible. The integrated Cafeteria  "La Fuente" offers  breakfast  and   traditional  plates  for  their guests,  with  room-service  in the morning from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.

Around the Plaza you can find additional small Restaurants and Stands, offering regional food, Tacos and Tortas. The  local  Bakery at the East side of the Plaza opens  daily at  7:00 am with fresh Bread.

Pátzcuaro can be reached by Car or Bus in about 25 minutes. The Bus is leaving the Main-Square at every full hour, or you can catch one of the public Vans in between.
